About the Position

As an Inside Sales & Shipping-Receiving Representative, your career has a strong focus on sales, but is flexible to assist the Shipping & Receiving Department during peak times. Customer service is our top priority, so you should be a quick learner with exceptional communication and time management skills. You will work closely with the rest of the sales staff and report to the Operations Manager.

This position has an opportunity for growth into managing online sales for driven and qualified candidates.

Key Sales Responsibilities include:

• Providing quick, friendly, and thorough customer service
• Support selling of multiple product lines across multiple vendors
• Preparing in-depth quotes for customers
• Sales and inventory data entry
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, leading to solutions for customers
• Answering customer phone and e-mail inquiries
• Staying current on new and existing product knowledge
• Assisting Outside Sales with quotes, tracking, and product availability

Key Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities include:

• Accurately receiving inbound shipments
• Preparing outbound shipments
• Processing inventory

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to understand and implement processes quickly and accurately
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work and communicate with the internal team effectively
• Mechanical ability and knowledge
• Capability to multi-task and prioritize tasks when needed
• Strong self-motivation and can work independently
• Strong math and computer skills, namely with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to lift 30 pounds, and occasionally 75+ pounds

Desired Skills:

• Higher education coursework or degree
• Some technical education and/or technical sales experience
• Knowledge of Profit21 Inventory Management System
• Digital marketplace experience

Wages:

• $20 - $25/hour DOE ($41,600 - $52,000 annual)
